The Caro Family was absolutely blown away by the amount of people from all areas of their lives who came out for the event (between 300 & 400). The love and generosity they experienced during Joe's Get Well Bash was astounding.
We thank ALL of you for giving back to the Caro's. Not only have you helped in a tangible way, but even more importantly, in the intangible and potentially more healing way by allowing them to see people whom they have affected in their lives as a source of healing and strength.
In our culture you generally don't get that until a funeral, and then how much does that help? To show a family love and support publicly is very tricky. However, given what we ALL experienced during the planning, and actual event, it was powerful to everyone involved and attending the event.
