Coconut Date Balls
Kids love to make them! Great for motor dexterity.
Buy whole un-pitted organic dates and put them in your fridge
When chilled, pit them and put in food processor until a paste
Place shredded coconut on a platter
Have kids make little date balls and roll them in the coconut
Place in container and freeze
Can be eaten room temperature, but but sometimes a little too sweet. When frozen they taste like caramel, plus kids chew longer and tend not to over indulge.
